What to Expect at your Spray Tan

I will come to your home with everything I need to spray tan you!

I just need an open area to set up my tent, access to a couple outlets (I have extension cords if needed), and hopefully good, natural lighting.

You may wear a swimsuit, bikini bottom, thong, or whatever comfort level you'd like.  I will provide disposable thongs if you'd like one.

I will lay a towel down inside the tent.

You'll step inside, and I will apply barrier cream on a few parts of your body.  Barrier cream prevents the spray tan from developing too dark or sticking to parts of our bodies that have thin skin or tend to hold too much product (knees, elbows, hands, heels, fingernails and toes).

I'll ask you to wear a plastic cap to protect your hair - I will provide this for you.

Next, I will have you position your body in a few ways that allow me effectively and evenly coat your body with the spray tan. I will stand about 6-8" away from you.

I will usually apply 2 coats of spray tan, and dry the first coat with air from my gun prior to applying the second coat.

If during the spray tan process, I notice any areas where the solution appears too wet or dripping, I have a few methods of blotting, blending and removing excess solution.

After I am done tanning you, I'll inspect the tan to make sure everything looks even and blended, and get you as dry as possible.

I have a large, fluffy barber brush and some baby powder that I may apply to a few areas that tend to be damp (cleavage, inner elbows, neck creases, behind the knees, possible under the butt cheeks).

I will use a baby wipe to remove any possible overspray on the palms of your hands, your heels, fingernails and toenails.

Then you're all done!  You will want to wear dark loose clothing and wait at least 8 hours to rinse off a standard 8-hour spray tan, and wait 2-4 hours to rinse off a rapid spray tan.
